YBS Grants is a grants program I started to offer belief & capital to support ideas, and the people behind them.

I'm looking to meet people building at the intersection of AI, virtual characters, and entertainment .

Offering

No-strings-attached $3000 grant, distributed over 3 months.

Focus

solo devs/artists based in New York City.

Process

Work on a self-directed project. Receive $1000 at the start of each month. At the end, I’ll interview you about your practice.

Structure

12 individuals will be selected across 4 cohorts.

Reasoning

I believe creating a modern patronage movement starts with supporting artists with grants from individuals, not institutions.
